At Mulberry Bush pre-school we are proud to encourage and support active learning, critical thinking and sparked imaginations. Our play-based and child-led approach means children are able to think for themselves, make their own choices and direct their own learning with confidence. Children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and create, using natural open-ended resources and stepping away from modern-day toys. We believe that the more a toy does, the less opportunity a child has to think and communicate. Our setting favours recyclable curiosities, natural loose parts and nature which allows children to focus on the wonder found all around us.
